At Aqua-Tots Old Town Scottsdale, children of all abilities from 4 months-12 years old become safe and confident swimmers in our indoor, 90° pool. With flexible class schedules, make-up lessons and a fully stocked changing room, we’re here to make swim lessons convenient for your family. So, sit back and relax in the comfy red chairs in our viewing area. We’ll take care of the rest.

Aqua-Tots Old Town Scottsdale is family owned and operated by the Klingaman, Lyman and Bennett families: Robert & Laura Lyman and their two daughters and husbands, Lyndsey & Tyler Klingaman and Jessica & Stephen Bennett. The Klingamans and Bennetts both have 10+ years’ experience at various Aqua-Tots locations and opened their swim school in 2018. As a family, they enjoy summer trips to San Diego!

Lyndsey and Tyler Klingaman met at Aqua-Tots in 2010 and were married five years later. They fell in love with Aqua-Tots and doing life with those in their community, creating relationships with the families and fellow team members. Realizing a dream, they opened their own swim school in 2018. In their free time, Lyndsey and Tyler enjoy scuba diving and being outdoors.

Michael joined the Aqua-Tots family in 2022. His aquatic experience began as a tot in California and continued through water polo competitions and swimming in high school and junior college. Michael has worked as a lifeguard, swim coach, P.E. teacher and firefighter. He loves building a safer community through quality swim lessons, and in his free time, Michael enjoys playing water polo, swimming and surfing!

Madyson joined the Aqua-Tots family in 2020 as a swim instructor. She then served at the front desk and as our marketing assistant. Mady is driven to prevent drownings by teaching lifesaving swimming skills and now works as our aquatic manager. She loves to provide instruction and build relationships with the staff and families. In her free time, Mady enjoys working out and spending time with family!

With 40+ hours of in-classroom and in-water training, they are well-equipped to teach your child everything they need to know to become a safe and confident swimmer for life, using the proven Aqua-Tots curriculum—tried, true and trusted all over the world to teach children how to swim.
