At Aqua-Tots Old Town Scottsdale, children of all abilities from 4 months-12 years old become safe and confident swimmers in our indoor, 90° pool. With flexible class schedules, make-up lessons and a fully stocked changing room, we’re here to make swim lessons convenient for your family. So, sit back and relax in the comfy red chairs in our viewing area. We’ll take care of the rest.

Aqua-Tots Old Town Scottsdale is family owned and operated by the Klingaman, Lyman and Bennett families: Robert & Laura Lyman and their two daughters and husbands, Lyndsey & Tyler Klingaman and Jessica & Stephen Bennett. The Klingamans and Bennetts both have 10+ years’ experience at various Aqua-Tots locations and opened their swim school in 2018. As a family, they enjoy summer trips to San Diego!

Lyndsey and Tyler Klingaman met at Aqua-Tots in 2010 and were married five years later. They fell in love with Aqua-Tots and making an impact in the community by teaching swim lessons. Realizing a dream, they opened their own Old Town Scottsdale location in 2018.

Vidal joined the Aqua-Tots Old Town Scottsdale Family in 2020. His first position was working at the Front Desk. He became General Manager in 2021, at our North Scottsdale location, and now is back as our GM of Old Town. He loves impacting the community, children and employees through quality swim lessons and a welcoming environment. In his free time, Vidal enjoys biking and RC cars.

Carson joined Aqua-Tots in 2020 as a swim instructor at our Mesa location. He joined the Aqua-Tots Old Town family as a Master Instructor in 2023 and is now our Aquatic Manager. Carson is driven to prevent drownings by teaching life saving swimming skills. He loves to provide instruction and build relationships with the staff and families. In his free time he enjoys swimming and spending time with family!

With 40+ hours of in-classroom and in-water training, they are well-equipped to teach your child everything they need to know to become a safe and confident swimmer for life, using the proven Aqua-Tots curriculum—tried, true and trusted all over the world to teach children how to swim.
