As the first Aqua-Tots location in Kansas, Aqua-Tots Olathe teaches children of all abilities from 4 months-12 years old how to become safe and confident swimmers in our indoor, 90° pool. With flexible class schedules, make-up lessons and a fully stocked changing room, we’re here to make swim lessons convenient for your family. Sit back and relax in our comfy viewing area. We’ll take care of the rest.
Our Owners
After years in the corporate world for Mike and 15 years as a stay at home mom for Keri, the Priests went on a quest for a new career. With 3 children who had been through the Aqua-Tots program, the Priests saw a new opportunity to provide for their family & impact communities. In 2015, they opened their 1st school in Arizona, but KC was on their minds from the start! Mike grew up in Overland Park. Go CHIEFS!
Our Owner
Meet Pietra! She joined Aqua-Tots in 2018 and co-owns our Kansas City schools in Olathe and Prairie Village with her sister Keri. Married and a proud mom of four, Pietra works alongside several of her kiddos in various roles. She's passionate about building relationships with our families and loves witnessing the positive impact of water safety on individuals and the community.
Our GM
Danielle joined Aqua-Tots in February 2023, and loves every minute of it! Danielle enjoys watching her students grow and develop their swim skills and seeing the impact that water safety has on individuals and their communities. When she’s not at work, Danielle loves to knit!
Our AM
Meet Winona, our Aquatics Manager for Aqua-Tots Olathe! Originally from the Oklahoma Cherokee Nation, she brings passion and pride to everything she does. When she's not busy leading our team, you can find her beading beautiful earrings or spending quality time with her girlfriend and their dog. Winona also loves fitness, family walks, and a good library visit!

Our Instructors
At Aqua-Tots Olathe, our calm, confident and certified instructors are ready to welcome your child into the pool. With 40+ hours of in-classroom and in-water training, they are well-equipped to teach your child everything they need to know to become a safe and confident swimmer for life, using the proven Aqua-Tots curriculum—tried, true and trusted all over the world to teach children how to swim.
