Newly Renovated Aqua-Tots Opens in Round Rock

Popular swim school provides special offers on classes for February 20 reopening

ROUND ROCK, Texas (Feb. 1, 2023)—Aqua-Tots Swim Schools, the largest international swim school franchise, is excited to announce the reopening of its Round Rock location following a complete renovation. Conveniently located near Gattitown on the northwest corner of IH 35 and Sam Bass Road in the Round Rock West shopping center, Aqua-Tots Round Rock is scheduled to reopen on February 20, 2023.

Due to fire damage from a neighboring business, Aqua-Tots Round Rock sustained significant structural damage. They chose to use the setback as an opportunity to elevate their swim school to better serve the families of Round Rock, Georgetown, Hutto, Pflugerville, Taylor and north Austin. The 6,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility now boasts a pool twice the size of the original as well as modernized amenities.

“We are very excited for families to see the beautiful new facility,” said the franchise owner and longtime Austin resident, Dr. Andy Neillie. “Our community is ready to come back together, and we know they will enjoy the new-and-improved experience that will make swim lessons easier and more convenient than ever.”

In celebration of the reopening, Aqua-Tots Round Rock is now pre-enrolling children in small group (4:1 ratio) swim lessons. This includes the highly requested Parent & Tot classes where parents join their 4-30 months olds in the water to learn water safety together. For a limited time, those who enroll will get an additional day per week free for the first month. As an added way to save, families who purchase a 6–12-month lesson package will receive a generous discount.  

According to the National Institutes of Health, “Participation in formal swim lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by 88% among children ages one to four years old.” As the first Aqua-Tots location in Texas, Aqua-Tots Round Rock has taught nearly half a million swim lessons since opening in 2012.
