With flexible class schedules, make-up lessons and a fully stocked changing room, we’re here to make swim lessons convenient for your family. At Aqua-Tots Lexington, our calm, confident and certified instructors are ready to welcome your child into the pool. With 40+ hours of in-classroom and in-water training, they are well-equipped to teach your child everything they need to know to become a safe and confident swimmer for life, using the proven Aqua-Tots curriculum—tried, true and trusted.

When Jake and Lindsay had their first daughter, Lilly, they knew they would do anything to keep her safe and enrolled her in swim lessons at Aqua-Tots. They loved their experience and knew there was a need for a swim school in Lindsay's home town of Lexington, KY. The Thayer's career backgrounds influenced their desire to provide excellent customer service, and in May 2016, they opened their first Aqua-Tots.

Britt was born in California but spent most of her life in Colorado before moving to Lexington, Kentucky, for school. Britt is currently working toward her master’s degree and plans on continuing to a PhD. She loves Aqua-Tots because, in those 30 minutes, she can be a child’s number one fan! Britt’s hobbies include reading, cooking, and going to live theatre and museums!

Rylie moved to Lexington from Georgia in 2019 to attend the University of Kentucky and will soon graduate from the College of Agriculture. Rylie started her swim journey at an early age, and Aqua-Tots seemed like the perfect fit when looking for a job in her new city. Outside of Aqua-Tots, Rylie is a full-time dog and horse mom. She loves spending days with her fur babies and with her friends and family.

Abbi is our assistant manager and joined Aqua-Tots in 2021 as a water safety instructor. She quickly fell in love with Aqua-Tots and is excited for opportunities to learn and love on her Lexington community. Abbi is a family-oriented person, and this team is a chosen family she never expected to have! Outside of work, Abbi is happily married to a very patient man, and they have two lovable, obnoxious cats.

Kenzie is from Lexington, Kentucky, and joined Aqua-Tots in 2022. She started at the front desk and as a swim instructor before being promoted to office manager. Kenzie loves Aqua-Tots because she gets to make a difference in the lives of kiddos by teaching lifesaving skills and building relationships with families. Outside of work, Kenzie loves to read, make jewelry for her Etsy shop, and watch reality TV.
