OUR LESSONS & INSTRUCTORS
Our swim lessons are available for children 4 months and up. No matter what age your child is, it is NEVER too late to start swim lessons. Our levels are designed to teach children of all ages and abilities.
We recommend year-round swimming lessons for children because the continuity helps them retain more knowledge for a longer period of time. With the gap created by seasonal swimming lessons, children tend to regress from their swimming skill level; this ultimately results in having to refresh those skills before they can build new skills.
We provide small, intimate class sizes to help ensure a safe environment for your child to learn to swim.
Our Group Lessons have a maximum of 4 students to 1 instructor- one of the lowest ratios in the industry.
Our Semi-Private Lessons have a class ratio of 2 students to 1 instructor.
Our Private Lessons provide one-on-one instruction.
Our lessons are 30 minutes long. We’ve found this to be the optimum length of time for focused learning and fun for young children.
Families can enroll at any time for lessons. We are open year-round!
All Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Water Safety Instructors (AT-WSI) have completed 40+ hours of intensive classroom and in-water training and have passed written and in-water exams. In addition, all AT-WSIs have obtained CPR training prior to receiving their AT-WSI Certification. Our instructors continue to participate in monthly training sessions and are regularly evaluated for quality assurance.
We cannot guarantee that your child will have the same instructor for every lesson, but we do our best to ensure your child has consistency among instructors. We understand that younger children build relationships with instructors and we strive to accommodate that. Our staff will communicate any instructor changes to your swim schedule.
To enroll your child in swim lessons, sign up online through your local Aqua-Tots or give us a call. We recommend a minimum of twice a week for optimal learning, and we provide a wide range of class times and days to fit your schedule.
Please call prior to your child’s scheduled lesson to let us know your child won’t be attending class and we will gladly reschedule that class as a make-up lesson.
We are able to schedule make-up lessons up to seven days in advance. If a make-up lesson is missed for any reason, it is not eligible for rescheduling. Make-up lessons do not expire as long as a student is currently enrolled in our program. They may not be used towards monthly tuition.
Your child’s instructor will verbally tell you when your child is ready to graduate to the next level. The front desk staff will work with you to schedule lessons in the next level.
TUITION & PAYMENT
Our pricing varies by location and is billed monthly based on the number of lessons your child attends each week. Visit your local Aqua-Tots for detailed pricing and scheduling information or give us a call.
You are able to pay for lessons by calling/visiting your local Aqua-Tots. Your first month’s payment is due at the time of registration in order for a student to be placed in the class schedule. In addition, a credit card must be on file for your account for future payments. By providing your credit card, you have agreed to the terms and conditions of Aqua-Tots Swim Schools’ monthly auto-pay tuition.
We do have a registration fee and it varies by location. New families entering the Aqua-Tots program are charged the registration fee at the time of registration. An annual registration fee will be automatically billed for current clients at the beginning of each calendar year.
Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for used or unused swim lessons.
We reserve the right to cancel accounts with unpaid balances if payment is not received by the due date.
WITHDRAWING & RE-ENROLLING
Families wishing to take a break from swim lessons or end their commitment are required to fill out a 30-day written notice. Billing and enrollment will cease 30 days from when the written notice is received.
We consider your child enrolled until we receive the required written notice and your account will be billed accordingly. Tuition will be pro-rated for the month based on the 30-day written notice of cancellation.
We want to ensure you are getting everything that you pay for. A 30-day notice is required prior to withdrawing from a class in order for our system to apply current payments and cease future payments from being applied to your account.
You can submit your 30-day notice at any time during the month. Your classes will end 30 days from when the notice was received. We will prorate any classes that may go into the next month.
